Frequency capping updates

New time period options are available for capping the maximum number of ad impressions a viewer can see during a certain time period. Now, you can also cap to 5 minute and 10 minute time periods. This is available in the Pulse UI and Pulse REST API when:
  • Configuring global, campaign, and goal level targeting
  • Configuring targeting templates
  • Running campaign forecasts

The ability to cap the maximum number of ad impressions per 15 minutes, 30 minutes, goal lifetime, and campaign lifetime was previously missing from Goal rules 1.0, Goal rules 1.0.cpvext, and Campaign rules 1.0 endpoints, respectively. This has been fixed and all endpoints now have support for all time periods, as applicable based on the targeting rule level.
